Notify Primary Rep when an Email is Rejected
The primary rep for a contact will get a notification when an email is rejected when sent from the system. You must have a Mandrill account set up with your system to get the notifications. The system will use the email address to determine which rep to notify. If an email is used by multiple contacts, only one rep will get notified, not multiple reps. For example, if Bob Boblaw and Lucile Auestero both have a contact with the email buster@bluth.com and that email is rejected, whoever created the contact first in the system will be notified. The other rep won’t be notified. The contact must be subscribed to automated emails. When the email is rejected, the contact will be unsubscribed from automated emails.
You must have a Mandrill account in order to leverage this feature. Contact your client success representative if you are interested in learning more.
Once you have your Mandrill account connected, you can see all your system email activity through Mandrill.
You can also see your email analytics under the Settings > Marketing & Emails > Sent Emails.
The primary rep on the account will get a notification through the bell icon when an email fails.
The contact will automatically be removed from any automated emails.
