Glossary

Campaigns – Used to track contacts and activities associated with contacts. Campaigns can be included with mailing and call lists.

Cloning – You can clone a line item and all the details will get recreated into a new line item. You can update a clone line item after it is created.  You can clone either a pending or confirmed line item.

Cold Calls – Any call in the system you make to a contact that isn’t associated with an opportunity.

Cold Meetings – A scheduled appointment with a contact that isn’t associated with an opportunity.

Company Assets – Attributes tied to individual companies. These assets are not shared between companies like other dynamic attributes. You must enter the attribute on a company-by-company basis.

Contract Sales – Track the total amount of an order and when the order was finalized. The issue or service dates don’t affect the contract sales date.

Confirmed Sales – Any sales that are client or finance approved. Once a client signs off on an order, it is considered a confirmed sale. 

Display Groups – Used to group line items on your orders. You can use display groups to change your template display and they can automate the invoicing process.

Dynamic Attributes – Used to add data to your Contact, Company, Order, Ticket, or Forecasts. You can filter by your attributes from multiple areas of the system. Dynamic Attributes allow you to customize what data is crucial to help run your business in the system.

Lead Status – Monitor where your contacts are in the sales process. You can filter by your lead statuses and track your sales funnel. The contact owner gets credit for all status updates.

Lead Source – Used to track where your contacts are coming from. You can make the source a required field. A parent source can have children sources.

Market Territories – Use to assign your reps by geographical region. You can filter by Market Territories in the company search and sales rep assignment report.

Orders – Schedule ad or service items for a client. You need an order for tracking tickets and creating invoices.

Order Line Items Attributes – Dynamic attributes you can add to a line item when entering an order. These attributes can be added to your contract or invoice templates.   You can create two.

Opportunity – An opportunity is a high-level view of a company’s value. You can add activities to an opportunity to track progress. You can associate an opportunity with an order to close the opportunity or keep it open.

Opportunity Calls – Any call in the system that is associated with an opportunity. 

Opportunity Meetings – A scheduled appointment with a contact that is associated with an opportunity.

Proposals – A detailed forecast that can be converted into an order if a client approves. You must create line items to build a proposal, but you can weight the proposal. Proposals are tracked through Client Center. You can show proposal line items in your reports.

Prospect Company – A contact associated with a business name, but you are not ready to create the company record. You can convert a company from a prospect company to a company record.

Re-orders – You can create a new pending order from any booked order. You must select a period in the future to create the order. You must have your future issues created to generate a re-order.

Weighted – The value of an opportunity or proposal at its current stage in the sales cycle. The higher the weighted percentage the more value will be projected in the forecast reports.
