Consolidated Sales
The report shows all line items sales. You can include financial data and summarize the report. Use this report to get a detailed look at all sales for your business. You can also find all products purchased by a company over a range of time.

To access the report, you must have the User Permission ‘Snapshot & Consolidated Reports’
To view information for all reps, not just your own data, you must have the sub-permission ‘View All Users’
To find the report, either navigate to Reports > All Reports – Sales, or use the global search bar and click on the report name.
The Consolidated Sales Report can show results as general or specific as you need, depending on how you leverage the search criteria. There are over a dozen options to narrow down your search results, including fields such as Publication, Item Type, Order Number, Product Company, and GL Class. You can also use any of your system’s ticket, order, or company dynamic attributes as search criteria.
By default, you will not see any of the 'advanced search' filters. To display these, or further customize which search fields you see on this report, click 'Edit Search Filters'.
When editing the display of the report, you can either just update the display for yourself, or for all users in your site if you have the User Permission 'Apply Default Search Filters For All Users'.
Simply click on a field to enable or disable it from showing in the display. Any fields currently displaying will be shown in bold text with a green checkbox. Any fields not marked to display will be shown in grayed out text with a red checkbox. Make sure to click Save to apply any changes.
The options below are some of the search fields that can configure how your data is displayed, and what data is displayed.
Include Credits Applied: Check this option to adjust the client spend amount by any credits applied to a line item.
Include Financial Details: When this option is selected, additional details about the line items will be displayed, including deferred revenue and commission records. To get the most out of this search option, we recommend you have the following Display Fields selected:
Cash Due, Cash Booked, Cash Deferred, Cash Unbilled, Barter Booked, Barter Deferred, Barter Unbilled, Fees, Commissions, and Adjustments
Only Show Summary Data: There are multiple tables of data displayed in the report. The first contains line-item details, whereas all of the others contain summary information. When this option is checked, the line-item detail table will be hidden.
Group By Sort Order: When the ‘Sort By’ option in the Display Fields is set to either ‘Company’ or ‘Rep’, if this option is selected the line-item table results will be grouped together by Company or Rep, depending on which Sort By option is chosen.
Include Child Company Sales: When selected, and filtering by one or more companies, the results will include sales for all child companies, and works for multiple generations of parent-child company relationships. If left unchecked, the results will only display data for the companies searched.
Only Include Displayed Items in Export: If this option is checked, then your CSV export of the report results will only include columns for the Display Fields that are visible on the report. If left unchecked, then the export will work like normal and will include all Display Fields whether they are showing on your report or not.
The report shows the consolidated sales data in multiple tables. Depending on which search criteria you enter, you will see results in one or all of the following.
Line-Item Details: The first table displayed will contain specifics about individual items. The exact data that displays in this table is determined by the Display Fields you have chosen.
Publication Summary: The publication summary table will show an overview of the sales data broken down by publication, based on the search criteria entered. The table will show the total pages and average page rate, total cash and total barter, and the lost sales amount for each publication shown.
Category Summary: The category summary table shows an overview of the sales data broken down by product category, based on the search criteria entered. The table will show the total units, average unit rate, total cash, and lost sales amount for each product category shown.
Event Summary: The event summary table will show an overview of the sales data broken down by sales associated with specific events, based on the search criteria entered. The table shows the total pages, ad sales, ad barter, total units, service sales, and total sales, as sales associated with events can be both advertisements and/or services.
When Commission records are included in the results, there will be an ellipsis icon that shows up with actions you can take on the commissions. You can change the commission split, as well as change the commission percentages for each rep.
The Booked Revenue column is calculated by using the following formula: Booked Cash + Booked Barter + Unbilled Cash + Unbilled Barter - Adjustments.
Note
For commission data to display on the report, you need to select the ‘Include Financial Details’ option, as well as have the Commissions display field when running the report.
