Outlook Add-in

You can upload an Add-in for Outlook which will allow you to interact with the system from your Outlook client.  You can search and view your contacts, add email activities, and create new contacts.  You must be using exchange to use the add-in.

  • You will need to upload a file to install the add-in.  The file is under My Preferences. Use the following help link to upload your file. Office Add-in for Outlook for PC or Mac.

  • Your Outlook application must be connected through exchange. Once the Add-in is in place, you will see the Ad Orbit icon when you view or compose an email.

  • When you click on the Ad Orbit icon, you can login to your instance.  Once you are logged in, you can search, add contacts, create new emails activities, and view company details.

  • You can search for contacts by email address. You can add email activities or view more information when viewing the contact.

  • When you try to add a contact, the system will check to see if the email already exists and prevent you from adding the contact.

  • You can add an email activity directly from Outlook.  When viewing or sending an email, click on the Action menu and click on Add Email Activity.  You can go back and add an email at any time.  

  • You can view all of the contact details you can see in the system. You can view a company’s details as well.
