Managing Project Notes

If you are the project manager, an admin on the project, or have the ‘Edit All Projects’ user permission, you can add notes to your projects to keep your team up to date with how things are going.  You also update the status of your project and leave a note for your team to review.

  • If you want to add a regular note on the project, go to the project notes tab and enter all of your relevant information. You can assign a status to a regular project note.  You can edit or delete a project note.

  • If you want to update the status of your project and a note, go to the project overview page and edit the Complete section. You can edit but not delete a status note.

  • All notes will show up in the notes tab, but the only the latest status note will show up on the overview page. You can require notes based on the project statuses.
