File Upload Action

You can set up a workflow to manage the process of files uploaded to your ticket by user or contact.  The system can update the status, assign the ticket, or send a slack message any time a new file is uploaded.

  • The file upload condition is associated with ad, service, and support ticket workflows.  Below is a workflow setup for one print publication, but you can set a workflow for multiple publications.

  • In the first condition, the system will check if a file has been uploaded and if the action was performed by a contact. This means if a user uploads the file, the system will not trigger the workflow.  A contact can only upload a file through a client center.

  • The workflow is set up to send a Slack notification once the contact uploads the file.  Everyone on your team is made aware that a new file is available for review.

  • If the file was upload by a user, the workflow could instead update the status of the ticket.  For example, the system will update the ticket status to ‘Proof Available’ when a user uploads a new file.
