Managing Editorial Vendor Agreements
You can view, edit, and send agreements to your Writers and Photographers from their Agreements tab. You must send the agreement from the Agreements tab. The system will not send the agreement automatically.
You must have a writer or photographer in your system before you can create an agreement. Review the Create a Freelancer for Editorial Assignments page to learn about creating new agreements and assignments.
Once you have your personnel in the system, go to Add New Editorial.
On the add editorial page, you can choose the personnel, agreement template, and the issues you want to assign. The system doesn’t send the agreement automatically.
You must go to the Vendor Contact page to send the agreement. The system will send the editorial agreement email.
Agreements will show as pending or approved. You can edit or delete each assignment from the Agreements tab.
Changing the assignments will update the agreement. You can also delete individual assignments or the entire agreement.
If you receive an agreement from outside of the system, you can use the Upload Signed Agreement PDF to approve the agreement.
Once approved, you can view any agreement by clicking on View Agreement.
You may already have an agreement from a Vendor. You can upload a Vendor agreement on the Vendor Agreements tab.
