Invoice Charges Applied Report

Use this report to view additional charges on invoices, including late fees, credit card fees and upcharges. To use this report, navigate to Reports > All Reports – Finance, or use the global search bar. If this is a report that you plan to use frequently, mark it as a favorite and add it to your Quick Links.

We recommend that you have the following set up prior to using this report:

  • Additional Charge Types. These are set up on the Settings > Billing > Named Invoice Charges page.

To access this report, you need the User Permission ‘Invoice Charges Applied Report’.

Report Search and Results

You can set this report to run by Invoice Date Range, GL Date Range or Charge Date Range. You can also select the charge by type or leave as ‘all,’ as well as decide if it’s all line items or on all active items on the invoices.

  • By default, the results will be shown in a table format, with one record for each invoice charge applied. Each of these records will show information including company, status, line item type, and amount.

  • The company names and invoice numbers are quick links which will redirect you to the company overview page, and invoice search respectively, so you can quickly see additional information.

  • If you choose to group the results by Company or Invoice, then you will just see the total amount for that invoice or company, you will not see the specific charge details.
