Commission Rejection Report
Each month, before sales reps can submit their Commission Reports to Finance, they have to either approve or reject each commission amount. Data about each of these rejections is shown in the Commission Rejection Report.
To access the report, you must have the User Permission ‘Commission Reports’, as well as the sub-permission ‘View All Users.’
Report Search and Results
To run the report, you simply need to choose a commission year, but you can also narrow down the results by searching for a particular month or rep. The body of the report shows data about each commission item that has been rejected. The report shows the rep and invoice number, as well as certain information about the item itself like issue and ad size. Most importantly, the report displays the actual commission percent and amount, as well as any notes that were entered when the commission was rejected, including the amount the rep expected the commission to be.
Note
The Commission Rejection Report simply shows data for commission records that have been rejected. The report is not where rejections are actually performed. Rejections are done by sales reps on their Commission Report. Prior to being able to submit the Commission Report to Finance, the reps must either approve or reject each commission record. Any rejections show up in the Commission Rejection Report.
