Managing Project Statuses

Create project statuses and assign each status a color. Use your project statuses to better manage the health and progress of your open projects.

  • Create new project statuses by going to the Settings icon > Project Setup > Statuses. Name each status and set the color you want to see on the project search report. You can also set one of your statuses to the system default for all new projects.

  • Edit your projects to update your status.

  • View the history of your projects in the project status history report. You can choose to find all project with a specific status.

  • You can create project task statuses and set their color. You can use statuses to help organize your projects.

  • Go to Settings > Project Setup> Task Statuses.

  • Click on Add Status and assign your new status a name and color.

  • You can choose to have a default status. This means that any new task will start the default status.

  • You can assign a status to any task or subtask on your project.
