Slot Inventory Report

The Slot Inventory Report shows what inventory is available based on the frequency of your slot products and what has been sold. The report finds available, pending, and sold information based on the inventory set for each product searched. The data can be viewed in either a pivot or table format.

  • Recommended Setup

  • To access the report, you must have the User Permission 'Slot Inventory Report'.

  • You can find the Slot Inventory Report by going to Reports > All Reports and clicking on the report name. Or, you can use the global search bar.

  • On the report, you can leverage the search fields to find the desired results. The Brand filter will dynamically update the Publication filter to only show Publications for the selected Brand. This filter is optional.

    SIR3.png
  • The Publication filter is a required field. You can only choose one Publication at a time, and it will dynamically update the Products filter to only show Products associated with the chosen Publication.

    SIR4.png
  • Media Product is also a required field, but is a multi-select where you can choose up to five of your slot products to display.

    • Only Products associated with the selected Publication will display in the dropdown.

  • Position/Channel is an optional filter. By default, all positions and channels associated with the products selected will be included in the report results.

    • If you are searching for multiple products, only positions and channels associated with all of the chosen products will show up as options.

      SIR6.png
  • The Sizes field can only be used if you've chosen a Position/Channel. When used, the report will only show results for that specific Position/Channel and Size combination. By default, all sizes will be included in the results.

  • The Flight Date Range field will set the current date as the start date by default. Start and end dates are required in order to run the report, but you can change these dates as needed.

  • There are two options for how the results are displayed. By default, the report will be set to 'pivot view', which shows results in a more visual display, with a section for each product.

    • In the pivot view, the results will be color-coded based on availability. Sold items will be shown in dark blue, Pending are shown in orange, Available is shown in white, and Unavailable is shown in gray.

    • Each product will show inventory based on date, size, and position/channel.

    • For sold items, you can click on the company name, which will take you to the company's orders tab, automatically filtered for the order that slot item is on.

    • If you have the user permission to 'View All Tickets', you'll see additional information on Sold items. The ticket icon links to the ticket page in the system so you can view more details, and the ticket status color will be shown in a circle icon. Hovering over the status color will display the status name.

  • If you change the display to the 'table view', the results will be the same as the pivot view, but presented differently. There will only be one table for all of the results, whereas the pivot view has different sections for each product.

    • If you choose Table View for your Report Display, there are also two additional search fields. The Client filter allows you to find results for a specific customer.

      SIR10.png
    • The Open/Sold filter lets you find results based on inventory that is Open, Sold and Pending, or Sold. If this filter is left blank, the table will show all results.

  • While the display is different between the Table and Pivot views, the data and how you can interact with it is the same.

    • Each product will show inventory based on date, size, and position/channel.

    • The Customer and Quantity columns will only have data if something is sold or is pending.

    • For sold items, you can click on the company name, which will take you to the company's orders tab, automatically filtered for the order that slot item is on.

    • Pending items will list the company's name, but it will not be a link.

    • If you have the user permission to 'View All Tickets', you'll see additional information on Sold items. The ticket icon links to the ticket page in the system so you can view more details, and the ticket status color will be shown in a circle icon. Hovering over the status color will display the status name.
