Stock Management

You can manage your stock availability for products that require inventory and have variants. To add the initial stock level, navigate to Settings > Products > Store Products. When adding or editing a product, go to the Variants tab. When you add a variant, you can choose the initial stock level.

Stock Definitions:

  • On Hand - The stock of product that you currently have access to. Some of the product may be committed to your processed order, but you still have access to it.

  • Committed - Products customer have purchased but have not yet shipped. Physical products with an order status of Processing status are committed.

  • Available - On Hand inventory that doesn’t include items committed to an order. Your customer can purchase products with available inventory.

To update stock levels for your product variants, navigate to Settings > Ecommerce > Stock Management. You update as many product variants as you need.

  • You can find a variant by using the SKU number or the variant name.

  • The page will show you the On Hand Inventory and gives you the option to make an adjustment, addition or subtraction, to the variants. The after adjustment amounts shows what your stock will be when after you save your adjustments.
