How to Connect your Account to WooCommerce
  • You will need to have the Aysling WooCommerce Plugin in order complete the connection. In your WordPress site, go to Plugins and add plugin to upload the zip file.

  • Now you need to generate the keys to enter into your system. You can find the keys under WooCommere > Settings > Advanced and clicking on Rest API.

  • You will need to generate new Keys and give them a description. We recommend adding them immediately because you can't get back to the keys page again.

  • Now that you have your keys you can go to Settings > Integrations > WooCommerce. You must enter your store URL and both keys and click Save. You will get a success message if you connected. If no, contact support to help diagnose the connection issue.

    Important

Your store must be secure and run through HTTPS to connect.

  • With your accounts connected, you now have to make sure you have products, shipping methods, and promotions, set up in both system. We will start with product setup.

  • Products are connected between systems by the SKU number. SKU numbers must be unique in each system, so you can't have two products with the same SKU. Nothing else about the product needs to match. You could sell a Hat in WooCommerce that becomes a Shirt in the system. Be careful to map your SKUs correctly.

    Note

The SKU is set up on the product variants.

  • All shipping will happen through your WooCommerce system at this time. Because the system requires a shipping method for all orders, you will need to make sure whatever shipping methods you have set up in WooCommerce, you create the same method with the EXACT same name in the system. You do not need to worry about rates or any other part of the shipping set up.

    Note

Contact your representative to learn more about the shipping module and potential use with WooCommerce.

  • Coupons in WooCommerce are Promotions in the system. You don't have to use promotions, but if you want coupons/promo codes to go over into the system from WooCommerce, make sure you have a promo code set up with the EXACT same name in both systems. You do not need to worry about the type. We suggest just using the Order type for easy set up.

  • Now you are ready to start getting WooCommerce orders into the system.

    Notice

You can enter call in orders as back office cart orders instead of entering them into WooCommerce. If you plan to do this, you will need to spend more time on your site setup, including more detailed promotions, email templates, and invoice templates.
