Financial Exports
Export your financial data into multiple formats to work with your chosen software program. You can export data for companies, invoices, payments, purchase orders, and AP payments. The system will generate a CSV file in different formats to import into your accounting software.

The system generates file exports for different data from your site. You can choose the format you want to use for the following data sets. Data is added to exports when it is first created or modified. A new record that isn't modified will only export once, unless you choose to mark it for re-export.

The system allows you to use the following formats for each of the above data sets:
None: Use this if you never want the system to generate exports.
CSV: The system will generate a comma separate file format you can download from the export history.
QuickBooks: The QuickBooks format is formatted for import into QuickBooks desktop using a 3rd party tools and for direct import into QuickBooks online. You must set the type to QuickBooks if you use QuickBooks online integration and want the data to pass automatically.
Xero: The Xero format is set up for import into Xero accounting using third party tools and for direct import into Xero. You must set the type to Xero if you use the Xero integration and want the data to pass automatically.
Omeda: The Omeda format is used for bringing data into Omeda, such as contact lists and subscriptions. If your exports are set to Omeda, you may also want to review the Incremental Publication Subscription Exports, Simple Digital Media Exports, and FTP system configurations.
Set the file format for your general ledger records. Each format has specific fields and is build for import into other financial systems. You can review each of the formats in detail in the GL Documentation.
Simple: A basic format that will include the debit and credits in two columns.
Peach Tree: It is built to map with a Peach Tree journal import.
Intacct: There is an internal setting to include deferred transactions. You must contact support to enable the deferral tracking.
Great Plains: You can include a discount GL transaction for this export. You must contact support to enable this feature.
QuickBooks: Make sure to set all other export files to CSV if using the QuickBooks GL export. The QuickBooks GL export does not export directly to QBO. The file must be exported and imported using a 3rd party tool.
Naviga: A GL export format built to map with a Naviga data import. When set to Naviga, you should also set your Export Invoices and Export Payments Formats to CSV, and the File Export Delimiter configuration to use a comma.
Consolidate Financial GL exports into a summarized data format. The system will export the summary daily. The summarized view will group debit and credits based on GL Codes.
When enabled, the system will only include data in the exports if the transactions were in the current period, You should only consider using this if you also enabled GL Locking. Otherwise, you will need to keep track of all out of period transactions outside of the system.
Export files will be split on a per Publisher basis. The system will export a file for each publisher you have in your system. The split feature will help to keep your financials separated.
