Shipping Email
Users can include a shipment note with an order when creating a shipment record in the site. The shipment note is represented by a tag in the system to allow users to include the shipment note on the shipment confirmation email automatically sent out to customers. Follow the steps outlined below to include a shipment note with your next order:
Navigate to Ecommerce > Orders. Search for an existing order from the storefront. Click on the ellipsis next to the order to which you wish to add a shipment note and select View Order Details.
Scroll down to the section titled Shipment Details and click on the Create Label button In the pop-up, enter the weight of the shipment, select the carrier, and select the package type then click the Get Rates button.
Once the rate options load, you can select a rate and add a shipment note in the field at the bottom of the pop-up.
This note will be pulled into the shipment confirmation email sent to the customer through the system. To save your selections and your shipment note, simply click the Create button at the bottom of the pop-up.
