The historical data tool allows you to merge your data files, append missing columns to your data, view errors and correct them, check for similar companies, and directly import the data. Using the other importers accessed in the system, you can take any CSV file, map it to an importer, test the import, and directly import it into your MagHub system. But you can’t perform any validation testing or check for possible duplicate information, like you can with the historical data tool. It also allows you to house data without fully importing it into the system, by using the Sheets and Merge Sheets sections of the tool. If you want to get your data into the system and update it based on your current database, you should use the historical data tool.
