Territory and Zone Tickets

If you sell circulation-based items, the tickets for these line items will look and work a bit differently than your typical ad tickets. They are similar to Grouped Tickets, but vary in that there is a single ‘Master’ ticket, made up of territory or zone tickets. This setup gives you flexibility over how you wish to manage your zone or territory issues. For instance, if you wish to use the same asset on every zone issue, simply upload that asset to your Master ticket and it will be added to each zone. Or, if you want one of your zones to run a different asset, you also have that ability by uploading that asset to the particular zone sub-ticket.

  • Circulation-based line items will automatically create a Master ticket. Unlike Ticket Groups, you won’t need to set this up after the fact.

  • When you navigate to the ticket page, you’ll see links to each zone/territory ticket, as well as links to view each zone/territory issue. The links to view the issue will open the MagBuilder book for that zone. Click on one of the ‘Details’ links to open the individual ticket page for a zone.

  • Any changes made to the Master ticket will apply to every sub-ticket that composes the Master ticket. If you upload a file, or change the status of the Master ticket, for instance, those same changes will apply to each of the tickets underneath it.

  • However, if you go to a specific zone/territory ticket and make changes there, the changes will not be applied to the Master ticket, or any of the other sub-tickets. The changes will only be applied to that particular sub-ticket.
