View Company Change History

The system will keep track of changes made to companies and contacts. You must have permission to view the company or contact to see change history or have permission to the history search pages. Not all fields are currently tracked; only items changed on the add/edit pages.

  • You can view an individual company’s history by going to their overview page. In the Company Info box on the overview page, you’ll see a small clock icon. When clicked on, the icon will open up a popup that shows the change history of the record, which includes the old value and the new, who made the change, and when.

  • If you have the ‘Company History Search’ user permission, then you can also access the Contacts > Company History page. This page allows you to search for specific changes based on company, date range, or user who made the change, and shows the same information as the Company Change History popup from the overview page.

  • We currently track the following fields that change on a company.

    • Company Name

    • Company Primary Rep

    • Company Type

    • Associated Company

    • Market

    • Category ID

    • Company Website

    • Company Country

    • Company Address

    • Company Address 2

    • Company Zip

    • Company County

    • Company City

    • Company State

    • Company Time Zone
