To run the report, simply choose a year, and select the probability of orders you would like to display – for example if you only want to see 100% confirmed orders, or if you would like to include pending orders. You may also choose to include or exclude service sales from your results.

The body of the report will show three tables: Quarter Sales by Company, Quarter Sales by Publication, and Quarter Sales by Rep. The quarters are determined by your Fiscal Calendar dates. Each of the tables will display the information in two ways – the Issue Sales for each Quarter, and the Contract sales for each Quarter, broken down by company, publication, or rep, depending on which table you are viewing.

Issue sales are based on an issue’s reporting date, whereas contract sales are based on when the sale was made. For example, you could make a sale in your first quarter, for an issue with a reporting date in the third quarter. These tables allow you to view the quarterly sales information for either approach.
