Splitting shipments
Splitting Shipments in the Back End, a user can split an existing order in the back end of the system into additional ‘Ship To’ addresses. For example, if a customer submits an order for three items and decides after the order is placed that they wish to ship one of the items to a different address than the other two items, a user can split their order in the back end.
To split a shipment in the back end, follow the steps outlined below:
Navigate to Ecommerce > Orders and search for an existing order from the storefront.
Click on the ellipsis next to the order to which you wish to add a shipment note and select View Order Details.
Click on the ellipsis in the top right corner of the section titled Order Details and select Split Shipment Items.
In the pop-up, select a different address for the items you wish to split and then click on the Create Shipments button at the bottom of the pop-up.
