Project Status
The Project Status Report allows you to view each project’s current status, and its status history. The report also shows basic data about each project, such as project hours, completion percentage, and important project dates. For each project with at least one status update, you can see a Status Log which displays data about each time the status was changed.
Before using this report, we recommend you have the following set up:
To access the report, you must have the User Permission ‘Access Projects Report.’
Report Search and Results
You can narrow down your results for this report by company, project status, go live date range, and archive state. The report results display both the current project status, and the history of each project’s status updates. The table will show basic data about each project that fits the search criteria, and if there is any status history, there will also be a Status Log drop-down table, which can be expanded or collapsed.
The main table for each project displays the project name and company name (when applicable) which are both quick links that redirect you to corresponding pages in the system. The table also shows project dates, users, notes and archive status. Most relevant to this report, it also shows the project’s current status, status note, and user that made the status update, as well as the project’s completion. Depending on your project permissions, you may be able to edit the project completion directly from the report by clicking on the completion progress bar.
The Total Hours are calculated based on the hours set for your tasks. When you add or edit tasks on your projects, you can enter a value in the Hours field for how long you expect the task to take. For each project, your Total Hours column is calculated by adding together all your task hours.
The Total Worked Hours column is determined by the number of hours users have recorded on their timesheets for the project tasks.
The Remaining Hours are simply the Total Hours minus the Total Worked Hours. If your team has gone over in their project hours, a negative value will show up here.
The Status Log table displays a project’s status history. Every time a project’s status is changed, there will be a record of it here. You will see the status, any notes entered when the status was updated, the user who made the change, and the date the status was updated.
