Activity Search
To get to your Activity Search page, go to Contacts > Activities.
Similar to the Contact and Company Search pages, the Activity Search page has various search filters that help you find the results you are looking for.
The first is Activity Type. These include items such as Call, Appointment, System Email, and To-Dos.
The Contact or Note/Attachment search field is a text based field, that allows you to search by contact name or the notes or files associated with an activity.
For example, if you type the word 'Sam' in this field, it will find activities with contacts named Sam, or activities that have the word 'Sam' in the notes on the activity.
The Activity Created Date field will default to the current month, but can be changed as needed.
Use the Status field to find pending, completed, or canceled activities.
By default, the Users/Reps search field will be set to your name. If you have the user permission 'View Activities for All Reps', then you can find activities that were created by or assigned to other users in your site. Without this permission, you will be limited to your activities.
The Company search field allows you to find activities specific to certain company records in your system.
Activity Scheduled Date allows you to find activities based on when they are going to happen or when they did happen, rather than when they were created. This is particularly helpful for items such as appointments that can be scheduled for the future.
Not all activity types have scheduled dates.
Additional Activity Details let you find activities based on the activity dynamic attributes you have created in your site.
Click Search to view your results.
There will be an individual record in the results for each activity that fits your search criteria. The way you can interact with each activity depends on the type. For instance you may be able to edit an activity, view email contents, or mark it as complete.
Any saved Activity Searches can be accessed easily throughout your site by going to Contacts > Saved Activity Searches.
