MagBuilder Page Actions

Pages in MagBuilder have multiple actions you can perform.  You can assign positions, swap ads, upload final PDFS, and more.

  • The page number on the top left of each page will show you the page number or position.  If you click on the page number, you can assign a premium position or ad section.

  • Click on ‘Change Settings’ to edit the type of page (ad, editorial, etc.), and choose categories.

  • The 'move' icon below allows you to drag and drop a spread to another part of your book.

  • The trash can icon above a spread allows you to delete the whole spread. If you do delete a spread, any paginated items will go back into the runsheet.

  • Use the upload icon to upload a final page preview. This should be a PDF of the entire page. The final image can be used for tear sheets and to push to the issue.

  • The icon with two arrows allows you to swap two individual pages within MagBuilder. You could swap two pages on the same spread, or swap two pages from different spreads.

    Note

    Two-page spreads can only be swapped with other two-page spreads, and single pages can only be swapped with other single pages.

  • The 'layout' icon below allows you to change the layout of the page. The layouts that show up to choose from are those created by your team.

  • The trash can icon on an individual page allows you to delete a single page.
