Trigger new Activities in the System from Zapier

Zapier can be used to connect your other systems with Ad Orbit. There are endless ways to use Ad Orbit. We can't go through every possible trigger and action you can do, but we will provide you with examples of ways you can leverage Zapier to connect to some popular platforms.

  • Calendly is an app that allows people to sign up for meeting times with you. GoToMeeting is an online meeting app that you can use to run virtual meetings. You can use Zapier to connect both applications with Ad Orbit.

    Important

You must have paid accounts to both systems to use this example.

  • Start by creating a Zap and start with a Trigger Event form Calendly. We will use the Invitee Trigger. Any time a person signs up through your Calendy App will trigger the Zap to start.

  • But I don't just want the Calendy invite created. I need to schedule a GoToMeeting for the event. I can use the GoToMeeting action triggers to create a new GoToMeeting scheduled based on the Calendy invite.

  • With my Calendly invitee and GTM meeting created, now it is time to connect everything to Ad Orbit. Because I am using my Calendly App for new prospects, I am going to start with the Create Contact trigger. I will use the information from the Calendly Invite to populate my Ad Orbit Contact.

  • Now that I have my new contact, I will use my Create Activity trigger to find the Contact and Create an activity on their account, which will include the GoToMeeting link. But I may need to format the data to fit into the system. After I format the Data, I can map all the data from my previous Zaps to populate my site.
