Address Verification
The system can verify a contact’s address information. When address verification is enabled, you can choose to verify addresses when adding or editing a contact. Your customers will also not be able to submit a new subscription if they are adding an invalid address.
When address verification is on, you will see a Verify? option on the address section of the contact add/edit page.
You must have the checkbox selected for verification to work.
Once you click on create, the system will see if the address you entered is accurate and suggest changes if necessary. You can choose to apply the recommended changes, which will update the address you entered, or ignore the suggested changes.
If you ignore the suggested, the system will not mark the address as verified.
If you accept the changes, the system will mark the address as verified and display a mailbox icon and the date of verification.
