Improvements
Reserved Product Scheduler Improvements
Multiple display updates were made to the Reserved Product Scheduler this release. Below are the changes that were included.
If a Campaign Name is set on an order, the Campaign Name will now be shown in the unscheduled run sheet, as well as any scheduled items in the tile and hover views.
Run Date has been removed from the scheduled tile. It can still be viewed when hovering over a scheduled item.
Company Category will no longer be shown in the hover view.
Company and Order dynamic attributes can now be shown in the hover for scheduled items, in addition to line-item dynamic attributes. Additionally, there is no limit to how many attributes can be displayed.
Omeda Updates
Over the past few releases, we have continued to improve our Omeda integration. These are the changes we made in this month's release.
The Omeda FTP import now supports updates by Contact ID or Contact Email address, in addition to the existing Subscription ID updates.
A Publication ID column was added to the import headers.
On the Omeda Config page, there is a new option to set custom file header names for the export and import files. Next to each default header name, you can now set the values that work for your specific Omeda setup. When the files are generated, any custom header names entered will be used rather than the defaults.
New Option for Order Pre-Pay Discounts
Historically, Order Pre-pay Discounts have been applied based on the order, and that will still be the default behavior. This release, we added a new configuration that allows you to change this and apply Order Pre-pay Discounts based on only the items included on the invoice. The new configuration is called **Apply Order Pre-pay Discount by Invoice Issue Dates**.
If set to No, which is the default, the Order Pre-pay Discounts are applied based on the order. For example, if you have an order with three print ads, one running in March, one in April, and one in May, and your Criteria for Order Pre-pay Discount configuration is set to ‘First Material Due Date’, then any invoices created for that order will have a pre-pay discount that expires with the March issue, even if the March item is not on that particular invoice.
Set the new configuration to ‘Yes’ if you would like to change this default behavior, and instead apply Order Pre-pay Discounts based on only the items included on an invoice, rather than the order. Using the same example scenario, if you created a master invoice for your order that included your April and May ads, and not your March ad, the pre-pay date for that invoice would be based on the April issue, _not_ the March issue, even though the March issue was technically the first material due date on your order.
Use Delivery Date for Commission Tier Attainment
Currently, commission tiers use a calendar year to calculate the commissions. This release, we added a new system configuration **Use item delivery date for commission tier calculations**, that allows you to determine which attainment year to use for eligible items.
When set to No, the tier attainment model will be based on calendar year. When set to Yes, the tier attainment model will be based on delivery date of the eligible item. For example, if a February 2023 print ad, and February 2024 print ad both become eligible for commissions in February 2024, when this configuration is set to No, both items will use the rate set on the 2024 attainment tier. If the configuration is set to Yes, the 2023 item will use the rate set on the 2023 attainment tier, and the 2024 item will use the rate set on the 2024 attainment tier.
This configuration only goes into effect if the **Commission Plan Date Option** configuration is set to ‘Issue Date.’
New Ticket Layout Improvements
We are continuing the process of transitioning to our new ticket page layout. This release, we updated our print ad and digital ad tickets to support the new layout. There were also a handful of improvements made based on your feedback.
