Production Widgets
The Available Ad Spaces & Positions widget shows a list of available ad spaces and positions per publication and issue, in a convenient table format. This widget essentially brings the Open Pages Report right to your Dashboard for better accessibility.
To add the widget to your dashboard, make sure you are in edit mode. Click Add Widget in the upper right corner. You will get a window that shows widget types. View the Production type and select Available Ad Spaces & Positions.
This widget will not display any information until you configure it, by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right corner. Once in edit mode, you can name your widget and add it to the dock for easy access. There are two filters you need to choose – Publication and Type. If you choose a print publication, then you can either choose position or size for the type. If the publication is digital, there will only be a size type. If you do not choose an issue, then the widget will display information for all of the active issues in the selected publication.
The positions and sizes you see are determined by how your publications are set up.
When you have the positions type chosen, the table will display all open, pending, and sold ads for that specific position.
When you have the size type chosen, the table will show all of the available inventory, how many ads have been sold, and how many have been placed. If you use free form pagination, then some of your ads may not have sizes assigned to them. In this case, those pages will display in the ‘No Ad Size’ row.
The data for this widget is pulled from the Open Pages Report, which you can navigate to by clicking on the ‘view details’ icon in the upper right corner of the widget.5. Access to this widget is determined by your permissions.
As part of the production team, managing your tickets is extremely important. The Open Tickets widget lets you view a list of tickets in the system that are assigned to you or created by you. You can filter the ticket list and update statuses right from the widget. There is also convenient navigation from the widget to specific tickets or ticket search pages.
To add the widget to your dashboard, make sure you are in edit mode. Click Add Widget in the upper right corner. You will get a window that shows widget types. View the Tickets type and select Open Tickets.
By clicking on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the widget, you can name the widget and configure it to your liking. You can sort by relationship to user, which includes assigned or created by, and select a default sort order. You can also sort by ticket type. If you select a type, you will see all of the associated statuses, which you can further filter your results by. There are optional Publication and Issue(s) filters as well that can help you narrow down your results. You are also able to add this widget to your dock for easy access. Once you are done editing, click Save.
The table will display the ticket ID, the item ID, when it was created, the type of ticket, the ticket description, the current status, the priority, and who the ticket is assigned to. By clicking on any of the table headers, you can further sort your results.
You can click on the ellipsis action icon to go to the ticket or update the ticket status.
The ‘view details’ icon in the upper right corner of the widget will navigate to different locations depending on the widget configurations. For example, if you have configured the widget to display service tickets with the status ‘vendor assigned’, the icon will take you to the Service Tickets Search page with the Current Status set to ‘vendor assigned’.

The Issue Calendar widget brings all of your important Issue Dates together into a single calendar view. The widget not only shows you information about your Issue Dates, it also includes data about each Issue’s sales, goals, pages, and inventory. You can add the widget to your dock, which means you can have access to all of your Issue Dates, from anywhere in the site.
Note
To view this widget, you must have the User Permission ‘Issues Calendar’.
To add the widget to your dashboard, make sure you are in edit mode. Click Add Widget in the upper right corner. You will get a window that shows widget types. View the Production type and select Issue Calendar.
By default, all Publications, Issues, and Date Types will show up on the widget, but you can change the information that is displayed by clicking on the gear icon in the widget's upper right corner. In the edit popup, you can name the widget, add it to your dock, and configure it to your liking
You can filter the widget to only show results for a single Publisher or Publication Market. Or, you can use the Publication multi-select to choose a single, or multiple publications to view results for.
Note
If Organization filtering is enabled in your system, and you are assigned to a Publisher, then only that Publisher will show up as an option for the Publisher search field. The publications that will be available in the dropdown will be only those for that Publisher.
The Issues dropdown will only show up once you have selected at least one Publication. The Issues multi-select will show all of the issues for the publications chosen.
Tip
Use the Issue Start and End Date filters to narrow down the options that show up in the Issues dropdown. When you enter a date range, only Issues that fit within the dates searched will show up as selectable options. These fields can be very helpful when you have many issues you need to sort through.
If you do not use the Date Type filter to choose specific Date Types, then all Date Types will show up on the widget. But if you only care about the issue’s Reporting Date and Cover Date, for example, then use the Date Type dropdown to select those dates. Then, only the Reporting and Cover dates will show up in the widget.
The widget will show up on your dashboard as a calendar, and you can toggle between a monthly and a weekly format by using the dropdown in the widget’s upper right corner.
Whether you are viewing the widget as a week or a month, you will see a Publication Name, Issue Name, and Date Type wherever there is a relevant Issue Date.
By clicking on a specific day, you will open up a detail panel on the right side of the widget. In the panel, you will once again see the Publication Name, Issue Name, and Date Type for each result. If you click on one of the results, however, you will see more details about the Issue.
For both Print and Digital Issues, you will see the Publication, Executive Publisher, Editor, number of Ads Sold, total Ad Sales, and the Issues Goal. Most of these fields are set on the Issue itself.
For Print Issues, you will also see data about the Issue’s pages, including the total Ad Pages, Editorial Pages, Total Pages, and the Ad to Editorial Page Ratio. There is also a link to the Issue Snapshot Report, which will open up the report with the Publication, Issue, and Issue Month/Year Range fields automatically filled in.
For Digital Issues, rather than page information, you will see inventory data. For each inventory type, including Impressions, Clicks, Events, Days, and Flat, you will see both the available inventory and the sold inventory. All of these are set on the Issue level. There is also a link to the Online/Digital Snapshot Report, which will open up the report with the Publication, Issue, and Issue Month/Year Range fields automatically filled in.
