Using Dynamic Attributes in Workflows
You can use contact dynamic attributes in contact automation workflows. Your contact dynamic attributes can either trigger an action or you can use a trigger to modify a contact’s dynamic attributes. Below are a few examples of how to use dynamic attributes in Automation Workflows.
You must create a contact workflow to leverage contact dynamic attributes. You can use either an active or inactive workflow.
When you build a new workflow, you can choose an action type of Contact Dynamic Attribute Modified in the If/Then branch. Any contact with the modified attribute will go through to your next step.
You could set up a workflow that adds any contact to a list if a user modifies a specific attribute. You can use this new list in drip campaign or email marketing.
You can also have the system update contact attributes after your trigger. For example, you can set up a drip campaign and update a contact’s attribute based on an email action.
You can also modify an attribute if a contact is inactive for a certain period of time.
