Finance Widgets
The A/R Aging widget displays a list of your companies with outstanding balances, which is easily accessed right from your dashboard. The widget can be filtered by date ranges as well as primary and order reps.
To add the widget to your dashboard, first make sure you are in edit mode. Click Add Widget in the upper right corner. You will get a window that shows widget types. Select the Finance type, then click A/R Aging.
The widget is configurable by clicking on the gear icon in its upper right corner. In the edit popup, you can name the widget or add it to your dock for access throughout the site.
Choose a date range or date period to filter the widget results by. Use the date periods to view aging by 30-180 days past due or 90-120 days past due, for instance. Or, use the date range option to enter a custom start and end date for your aging.
You can view results in this widget for all reps in the system, or you can select a specific primary or order rep. If a specific primary rep is chosen, the widget will show the total aging for a company if the chosen rep is its primary. If you are filtering by a specific order rep, the widget will show the total aging for a company only if the rep is associated with an order on the invoice.
Make sure to save your changes when you are done editing the widget.
The widget displays its results in a table format. The table header will show the date range, and if you are filtering by a specific order rep. For each company with aging, you will see the company name which is a quick link that brings you to the company’s page in the site, the company’s primary rep, and the total aging amount. Click on the table headers to sort the table by that column.
It is important to track labor costs across all of your projects and make sure your team is spending time on profitable projects. The Billable Utilization widget makes this easy and accessible. The information in the widget is calculated by hours that your team submits in their timesheets for any billable projects. A simplified version of the Utilization Statistics page, this widget shows the billable hours and percentage utilization for each user over a certain time period. Access to this widget is determined by your permissions.
To add the widget to your dashboard, make sure you are in edit mode. Click Add Widget in the upper right corner. You will get a window that shows widget types. View the Projects type and select Billable Utilization.
By clicking on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the widget, you can name the widget and choose from various date ranges, including the current month, a selected time period, and a custom date range. You are also able to add this widget to your dock for easy access. Once you are done editing, click Save.
The widget will display the user’s name, their billable hours, and their utilization percentage for the selected time period. You can further sort your results by clicking on any of the table headers.
The data for this widget is pulled from the Utilization Statistics page, which you can navigate to by clicking on the ‘view details’ icon in the upper right corner of the widget.
The Credit Memo widget displays the total, applied, and open credit memo balances for companies you are a rep on.
To add the widget to your dashboard, first make sure you are in edit mode. Click Add Widget in the upper right corner. You will get a window that shows widget types. Select the Finance type, then click Credit Memos.
The widget is configurable by clicking on the gear icon in its upper right corner. In the edit popup, you can name the widget or add it to your dock for access throughout the site.
If you wish to view results for a specific company or companies, you can use the Company dropdown. If you leave this field blank, the widget will return results for all companies you are a rep on.
Make sure to save your changes when you are done editing the widget.
The widget displays its results in a table format. Each record shows the company name, their total Credits, their Applied credit memos, and their Open Credit memos. The company names are links which will bring you to the company's overview page. You can also click on the values in the Open Credit column to quickly open the Credit Memo search page, pre-filtered for that company.
