Contact Widgets
The Activity To-Do List widget shows all of your to-do items in a convenient and easy to read list.
To add the widget to your dashboard, make sure you are in edit mode. Click Add Widget in the upper right corner. You will get a window that shows widget types. View the Contact type and select Activity To-Do List.
The widget is configurable by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right corner. You can name your widget, and choose how much future activity and past due activity you would like to display.
Tip
Keep yourself organized by adding multiple widgets to your Dashboard; one for today's activities, one for the past, and one for the future.
From the Edit pop-up, you can also add this widget to your dock for easy access. When you are done editing, click Save.
The Agenda widget is a great tool for keeping your life organized. It can display your upcoming and past scheduled activities, and can be configured to fit your needs. If people report to you, you can also see their activities in this widget. Actions can also be taken in the widget to mark your activities as complete, record notes, and schedule follow-ups.
Once added to your dashboard, the agenda display is based on your widget settings. Items on the Agenda Widget will appear in the following order under the following Headings:
To Dos: To Dos with no specified due date.
Past Due: To Dos and appointments that are past due.
Today: To Dos and appointments with a Due date of today.
Due Later: To Dos and appointments that are future dated. They will be in the order in which they are due.
To change what is displayed and how it is displayed, click the gear in the upper right corner of the widget.
In the edit popup, you can name your widget and add it to your dock for easy access.
In the Sales Rep field, you may only see your name, or if there are users who report to you, you’ll be able to choose them as well.
The Date Range allows you to view activities by certain timeframes.
The Activity Categories, Appointment/Note Type, and Status fields allow you to customize which types of activities show up in your widget.
When editing is complete, click save.
Click on an item in your Agenda to see additional information about the activity.
Contact and Company: If the activity is associated with a contact and company, their names will show up here. Click on the name of the contact or company to go to their overview page and see additional details.
Email Address: The user can send an email from here as well.
Phone Number: Some customers will be able to place the call directly from here.
Notes: View notes on the Appointment or To Dos.
Click the ellipsis next to Edit the item, Mark as complete, Mark as canceled, or Delete Item.
Click the Plus Sign (+) sign in the right corner to Add a new Appointment, To Do, or other event.
Tip
You are not limited to a single agenda. Whether you want to view multiple agendas for yourself or an agenda for everyone who reports to you, you can control exactly what you want to see.
The Alerts widget provides information about items throughout Ad Orbit that may need your attention, such as accounts without activity and upcoming expiring contracts. You can quickly link to different locations using the widget to address the items requiring your attention.
Once added to your dashboard, you will want to open the settings for the widget by clicking on the gear icon in its upper right corner.
In the edit popup, choose which type of alerts you want to see in the widget, and make sure to save your changes. Each type of alert is described below.
Accounts without recent Activity: Your accounts that have not have any activity created based on the your system threshold configuration as well as not having an activity scheduled based on the grace period configuration.
Contacts Phone Numbers: These are a list of contacts that do not have a phone number on file. Please update at your earliest convenience.
Expiring Advertising Contracts: List of your contracts thats final issue is coming up. Good time to reach out to the customer to create a new contract.
Commissions Requiring your Approval: The following commissions currently open for review. Please confirm or reject the commission before the end of the review period.
New Contacts Requiring Approval: The following contacts were created but need to be approved before your team can start working with the contact in the system.
Pending Contact Ownership Request: Users have requested to be the new owner of the following contacts. You must approve the request before any changes are made.
Accounts Needing Reassignment: These accounts' primary rep is no longer active. You should reassign these accounts to an active rep.
In the widget, you can click the link icon on each record to open a new page in Ad Orbit where you can address the items needing your attention.
The company and contact widgets allow you to view search results in your dashboard. Before you can use one of the widgets, save a company or contact search.
Now that you have at least one saved company or contact search, go to your dashboard and add a company or contact widget.
The widget will appear blank until you configure the widget and select a saved search; then the widget will return with the search results. While configuring your gadget, you can also name the widget and determine what columns you want to display.
Each widget will include actions you can perform on the company or contact.
Important
What actions you can perform and what data you can view will depend on permissions. If you can't see everything about the company or contact, it means you are either not the rep/owner or you don't have permissions.
The Lead Status widget shows the leads owned by the user for a given period of time. The widget gives you a snapshot of information about your leads, in addition to being able to perform actions directly from the widget, such as sending your lead an email.
To add the widget to your dashboard, make sure you are in edit mode. Click Add Widget in the upper right corner. You will get a window that shows widget types. View the Contact type and select Lead Status.
The widget is configurable by clicking on the gear in the upper right corner. You can name your widget and choose from various date ranges. You can also filter by lead source, and are able to add this widget to your dock for easy access. Click save when you are done editing.
There are two different views for the widget, depending on how large you make it in your dashboard.
The smaller view will display the date range and total number of leads.
The larger view will display the date range, name of the contact and their information, lead status and source, and duration you have had the lead.
From the widget, you can navigate to the contact page by clicking on the contact name.
You can also email the contact directly from the widget by clicking on the email icon next to the contact’s email.
If you have permission to access the Lead Status Report, you can easily navigate to it by clicking on the ’view details’ icon in the upper right corner of the widget.
